Complaint Review: ABM Janitorial

ABM Janitorial is a bad company to work for and also often hire drugatic employees, does not complete background checks on anyone they hire or conduct drug screenings.

i have been working for this company for a while now and it seems that there is a lot going on that goes unchecked. first off, to even be in the office building we work in you have to have level one clearance which gives you access to the entire building, ie server rooms, managers offices, boiler rooms,...many of the employees have felonies which would prevent them from being anywhere near the building, but yet they have access to everything. one evening as i was working the supervisor approached me definitely in a different state of mind. he was going on and on about a kenny chesney concert and almost shouting. i noticed a strong smell of marijuana. so i had a friend in law enforcement guide me to a website which showed me his criminal background which everyones background is public knowledge. i found that a few years back he spent time in jail for dui/controlled substance. He also has an extensive criminal background going back several years. when i had brought this to the attention of ABM, after time it seemed as though they were trying to get me fired. also, the individual i reported to human resources was notified by the account manager that day that there was somebody watching him. i also found out that there were also many other complaints about him and drug use at work, all of which have gone unchecked. investigations and drug screenings were never conducted. they still try to get me fired, they try to discourage, intimidate me into any further pursuit into this matter. i am at a bit of a loss as to what to do next. in the end, i would not want these individuals working on my property.
