Our daughter entered into a contract with Absolute to hire a bus for her 22nd Birthday (12/27/04). the contract was for $933.91.

On 12/28 I checked the Visa website and noticed three pending transactions from Absolute for $300 a piece, (the $933.91 had already gone thru) I called and spoke to a Visa representative and inquired about these charges. She explained that they were not all necessarily going to go thru to call the merchant and see what was going on. I told the Visa rep that I was concerned and she said she would make a note.

I then called Absolute and was informed that they are claiming that the party damaged a table on the bus, to the tune of $300. I questioned my daughter and a few friends that were there and they said positively no damage was caused to any table as they are bolted into the floor. I spoke with the manager, Sasha and told him that I would need proof in order to accept the claim. He told me he would take a picture and email it to our daughter.

The next day (12/29) I spoke to the receptionist who then told me that the computer was broken and that Sasha had the picture on his computer and would email it to our daughter. We also told her and Sasha, that on Friday, Dec. 31 we would go to their place of business and provided they show proof - our daughter would then hand of over a check for $300 and they would then have to credit the VisaBuxx account. She informed us that they would be there until 10pm.

On Dec. 31, I picked up our daughter at her work (5pm) and we started to drive to Absolute Limosine. We called Absolute on our way there to get further driving instructions and Sasha answered. He informed her that no one was at the office. I then spoke to him and asked where the proof of the damage was, he then told me he didn't take a picture as they took the bus away and fixed it. I then informed him that we would dispute this claim as he has lied thru this whole ordeal.
