In the fall if 2002, a telemarketing offered us what sounded like a good offer. We asked if family could participate and were told yes. We accepted the offer from Corporate Travel and did not think much about it until January 2004.

We called the airlines and arranged our air fare to Florida to enjoy this $249.00 package that included one ninety minute presentation. We called absolute and gave them our dates and were told, you cannot fly with family or friends it is not allowed and forfeit what you've paid. We set up our travel and my sister in law set up her travel and we ended up in different hotels and reservations centers anyway.

Our original paper work has no hidden charges for peak times nor no rules against flying with other family members. We were charged more for flying during a peak time. We were treated like dirt when told we needed late arrival. Our arrival in Daytona Beach was not even called and booked for us and my sister in law was sent to a second location in Daytona Beach because no reservation had been set up for her.

When we told the people trying to sell us the time share deals they told us that we should just buy the time share and we wouldn't have to put up with this type of treatment. They told us to report them to the Better Business Bureau but they continue to do business with them so they are working together.

They even tried to charge us an extra $75.00 for changing our scheduled vacation because they wrote the wrong days down and I called them and had them correct that.

I just want to warn anyone that has not used the vacation package they purchased, do not use it and chalk it up to whatever but do not put yourself through this d**n NIGHTMARE!!!

In response to your complaint regarding ARC, firstly I would like to point out that your paperwork DOES state that groups may not travel together. Further it states that a group consists of two or more certificate holders traveling together.

Secondly, your paperwork also states that you will incur an additional fee for early or peak travel requests. You received 4 different reservation request forms (for different locations) in your package and these clauses are listed on each form. You signed agreeing to these terms when submitting your request.

The package you purchased (From an independant marketing company) did not include any airfare, nor is it stated anywhere that airfare was included. Once you submitted your request forms and didn't meet the terms and conditions, we simply tried to accomodate your family and the only way for us to do that was send you to two different welcome centers and hotels (both in the same area) so that you would ALL received the Disney tickets you expected. This was explained to you by your travel coordinator at Absolute Reservation Center. You selected this option as opposed to forfeiting two of your disney tickets. We tried to bend the terms for you to accommodate you.

As far as the issues you went through in Daytona, I can not comment as I do not know the specifics or your last name to look this up.

I can say this in closing, we have over 28,000 families that have traveled in our database and have only been in business for 3 years. We have 4 complaints on this website. Two of these complaints are actually about the company that sold them the travel package.

In actually, as an owner, I am very proud of this percentage. I am however, disappointed that you are unhappy and as show of good faith would like to offer you another Orlando certicate for future travel. It is one certificate, for four, in one room, for 3 nights and two Disney tickets for attending the time share presentation. This certicate is open ended, there is not upfront costs, only the terms and conditions apply.
