My girlfriend responded (unfortunately) to a faxed solicitation (illegal by the way) from Wholesale Connection Company (WCC), which is affilate with Absolute Reservation Center (ARC). They offered a series of trips (Bahamas, Orlando, Ft. Lauderdale, and Las Vegas for $199 pp. Of course this was to good to be true.

Once we received the package in the mail we found port fees of $159.00 pp and if you wanted to really "enjoy" yourself in the Bahamas a $750.00 fee for the all inclusive resort. Even with all of this we still figured it to be a good deal......until we actually took the trip.

After confirming with us (by e-mail) the dates for the cruise ship to the Bahamas and the actual stay at the resort. We found ourselves at the resort in the Bahamas WITH NO RESERVATIONS. For 2-1/2 hours of calling ARC (with no response) we were forced to pay for our stay at the resort "out of pocket"

The resort gave us a copy of the reservation that ARC sent them and it was for THE MONTH PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL. We were considered a "no-show". ARC fax the resort the wrong dates, then e-mailed us the correct dates.

Upon our return to th states we promptly contacted ARC. They assured us we would be refunded. Still we wait. During my research a found a citation from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to WCC and ARC citing them for unsolicitated advertisements (sending faxes). This was dated July 14th 2006.

During my last conversation with ARC, I was told I should expect a refund in 7-10 days. I won't hold my breath. I would love to be part of a class action lawsuit against this company. They are a RIP-OFF!!!
