Complaint Review: Absolute Security Inc. Fredericksburg VA

DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! If you like to work without pay for not selling then this job is for you. We were told that you can make serious money selling security systems from ADT. You can BUT, and i stress BUT, they have to have the system installed. They wont tell you how much you get paid only that you are paid what your worth. Also you don't get paid for orientation.

They don't give you a schedule. They just tell you to come in at this time. They don't tell you what time you get off. You get training pay ONLY, and I do mean ONLY, if you sell AND the person gets installed a system. I went in to the interview after I got a call about them finding my resume on careerbuilder. Talked to a guy named Taylor, I think he was a fake because he had to write his name on the business card he gave me. When I called the next day to talk to him I got transfered to someone I never laid eyes on. I was told to come in for orientation which ws for two days.

During orientation thos guy Art basically yells the whole time telling you aboht the company. Never on e telling us how much we are making or when we are working. At the end of day two you have to go out and pitch ADT systems to 5 friends and family. If you don't you fail. Our orientation started with about20 people but on Monday there was only 10. I think the other 10 were just actors to make us think we had a big class.

Then the VP Pat comes in saying you r paid what your worth and some other b.s. doesn't tell us what we are making or anything. Then they gave us shirts and badges and tell us we are going in the field. Which means door to door and pitch a rehearsed sales pitch and try to sell ADT systems. I got out before I got stuck in who knows where blind selling stuff to people who didn't call in the first place. So hopefully you take my words to heart and skip o er their ad on careerbuilder, monster, indeed, and craigslist. I wish I had.
