Having to go to a meeting for the first time for 2 foster children at DhS in colorado springs.  All parking place were filled, have a big f-350 truck, I drove around and found one which I beleived was a DHs parking spot, next to a dennys parking. I saw no signs there.   I attended my meeting to come out and have no truck there, it had been towed.  The management of the tow company, sitting there in her truck, had watched me walk away and the called to have it removed.  I told her this is the first time here and seen no signs and I now had 2 children with me and no truck.Looking around the woman sitting there in her truck,  handed  me a card and said to bad I had parked in a denneys spot and she had it removed and it would cost 200 to be my truck back.  Then told me there was a sign, There was a large truck parked next to me and it was about 2 feet from the ground and was covered up when I parked.  AbsoluteTowing - watches people park and the right away tows the cars away.  It is sad they prey on the poor and defenseless people and children. They need to be looked at for there unethical business practices.  I know this has happened to many more or this one  or two parking places.

I want to start off by saying that Absolute Towing did not have your truck towed, Denny's had it towed. In order to remove a vehicle from priviet property, one must have a signature from the property owner and or his/her agent. Next, all spaces for DHS are clearly marked. There are 14 signs out there and a large yellow strip that says Denny's parking only.  There are also 2 big signs inside of DHS that warns people that if they park at Denny's they are subject to being towed.  Had you taken the time to read the "Denny's parking only" that is painted in the spot where you parked, you would not have parked there and would not have been towed. As you walked away from your truck with the pink tail gate you were given a warring and you chose to continue to go to DHS, thus it was your wrong doing that caused your truck to be towed.
