AC Delco Auto Battery Defect ripoff, manufacturing defect Internet
I am one of many who have had to replace my ACDelco battery in my 2002 Buick Century which I purchased in October 2002. The positive pole of the battery pulled completely out of the casing and dripped acid on parts of my car and also on my driveway. The AAA service person who helped get my car to a service facility stated this happens quite frequently with ACDelco batteries.
I consider this a major defect and NOT normal wear and tear. I too would participate in any class acton suit against Delco to recover the cost of the replacement. I did not purchase another ACDelco battery because of the pottential for premature failure.
