Do NOT use this delivery company! Their website says "AC Delivers is a nationwide, antique transportation company that handles hundreds of deliveries weekly with a large fleet of trucks and a multi-state network of warehouses."

They promise to pick up and deliver "antiques" or anything valuable and deliver it within 60 days of pick-up." They picked up 2 antique bookcases in CA in June when they were PAID and were supposed to deliver them to Florida in August 08. I called 8 Aug 08 and asked when can I expect a delivery date. They said "someone" would get in touch me. September/October 2008 went by with excuse after excuse when they bothered to respond to any emails to: quotes@acdelivers.com, shipping@acdelivers.com, John@ACAntiques.com, Rachel@ACAntiques.com and Lisa@ACAntiques.com. In November 2008, I received an email from John (I think he is the owner) who SWORE my bookcases were be delivered to Florida in November. When I called in December 2008 207-873-0771, a woman rep said their driver got cancer and had to go for treatment.

If this company has warehouses NATIONWIDE, why the hell did they pick up bookcases in California and DRIVE them all the way to a warehouse in Maine INSTEAD of leaving them in a closer state to Tampa Florida like PA or TN. This does NOT make sense.

At first, I was told REPEATEDLY that there are OTHER FLORIDA people waiting for their deliveries also and I should be patient. They wanted to wait until they got a LARGE shipment before going to Florida. Be Patient. Then, HIGH gas prices were the excuse for the delay. I paid in JUNE at the height of the gas prices. Now it is lack of drivers because they quit due to illness or whatever.

To date, AC Delivers/AC Antiques has not delivered my bookcases. I wrote Maine Attorney General Rowe Consumer Protection Division 23 Dec 08. Hopefully, they can get them to deliver my bookcases.

This delivery company has NOT delivered.

Update on AC Delivers and AC Antiques

#3Author of original report

Wed, March 04, 2009

CONTACT ME. Fastflowingstreams@yahoo.com
I have researched this extensively and may be able to provide information for you if you are a victim also.

As of 23 Feb 09, the Dept of Transportation 888-368-7238 has REVOKED AC Delivers interstate commerce licenses. USDOT 987508 AND Moving Company (MC) number 452159.

AC Delivers and AC Antiques had both their 800 numbers (Wisconsin answering service) disconnected and of this past week both their land line business phones have been disconnected.

The Maine Attorney General REFUSES to forward the name of other people around the country who have been screwed by this company so that we can WORK TOGETHER. He is a toothless tiger and wimps out saying AC Delivers refuses to sign for their certified letters or respond to their emails (that I GAVE HIM) and GAVE UP. Our taxpayer dollar hard at work.
