AC Penguin or Henry Arik Aflalo was hired to install HVAC units in a new development building in Brooklyn NY. To say that his work was improper or subpar would be a huge understatement. He got paid over $500k and his job is valuated at under $100k.
First, and most importantly we installed the wrong units. How can someone possibly install commercial units in a residential building. His work was all sloppy, chopped and most was against building department code.
He is really good at coming and asking for money every week but he does not deliver with his work. The quality is very poor. It might be good enough for an apartment or a small house but definitely not for a development site.
Please beware, below you will find a third party engineer’s report, outling the deficiencies with the work of Henry Arik Aflalo of AC Penuin.
A Third party company revealed the above mentioned deficiencies. AC Penguin had already been fully paid as per their contract and they received payment from dozens of change work orders..

AC Penguin Prestige signed a contract with Babaev Group located in Jamaica, Queens for a job to install HVAC system to the location in Brooklyn. During that time we did not have any mechanical drawings for the job. ACPenguin insisted that an architect design and correct the mechanical drawings for the direction of the owners, named Rudy Abramov and Meir Babaev.
During the progress of the job, they signed a contract with ACPenguin for a different location for approximatey $600,000. For the new job project which they claim they have in the future, ACPenguin complied with all NYC Code and finished the project on Graham Street with the direction of the mechanical engineer TSF Engineer which provide us a punch list to finish all the items to get signoff on the job. ACPenguin had pending change orders and question marks for approximately $300,000 which Babaev Group refused to pay, and an additional $600,000 contract signed by differeny companies-- they were misleading ACPenguin by giving us the appearance we were gonna have all these contracts, they decided to void all the contracts, and reneged on our signed agreement and legally enforceable contract.
In addition to that, ACPenguin filed mechanical liens in different projects, for total approx. $900,000 outstanding debts of Babaya Group, with totally different names of bogus companies like Northern Plaza, and 115 Nassau Street in Manhattan. I can list all the names of fake companies they are using. They kept giving us different names, and got us to sign on for different projects. They are scammers.
After we filed the mechanical liens, Babaev Group called us to sette the case and pay us additional $55,000 which was a stipulation signed by the three parties to drop all the liens. I request to remove this statement immediately. My company did all the work, only to be informed that our services will no longer be needed. We won all the court proceedings against them, and they were forced to settle. Now they are attacking ACPenguin's reputation, and this is a fraudlent statement. We never lost in court. We have all documents signed.
Do not trust this company Babaev Group or any of their scammer fake corporations. Rudy Abramov also refused to pay for services done to his house by ACPenguin. And Albert Babaev, the father, refused to pay for services for work performed by ACPenguin to his house.
