Complaint Review: Academy Collection Agency

I have an account with Academy Collections due to a credit card I had in college. I owe $600. If I had the money, I would pay it, trust me, I hate having this over my head and on my credit report.

Academy Collections has been absolutely harrassing me. They call 2-3 times a day, and when I try to talk to them or arrange some kind of payment plan, because I can't pay it in a lump sum, the operators all start literally screaming at me and will not let me talk at all. They have sworn at me, and I am at my wit's end.

This has been ongoing for a while now. They won't let me make any arrangements to pay them, unless I agree to pay the entire amount immediately. I can't understand how thir operators can be so rude!! It's almost like they have a complete disregard for other people.

If anyone can help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it...
