I purchased a $160 pair of Ray-Ban Sunglasses from Academy Sports +

Outdoors @ 4071 North Loop 1604 West San Antonio, TX 78257 on September 3, 2012.

Academy does not allow you to remove any of the stickers from high end eyewear before purchase!. When I got to my car and removed the round "ray-ban" sticker off the right lens there was a scratch on the lens under the sticker'. I immediately walked back into the store to get a non-defective pair. The associate who sold them to me said he had to ask the manager, the manager said sorry we cant take glasses back oncethe stickers were removed!

They informed me I would have to make a claim tothe manufacturer, Ray-Ban, really Luxottica.

So hoping for the best, I followed Luxottica's instructions, wrote a very nice letter, and sent the glasses to their warranty department?

A month later I received a letter saying that I need to pay them $44'38 within 90 days or they will discard the warranty claim and the glasses. So, I nicely called Luxottica and they very kindly gave me a discount so it only cost me $28 dollars to get the glasses I paid $160 for 6 weeks ago sent back to me in 3 to 4 weeks.
