I placed an order online (from a pop up..stupid I know) for a free trial of Acia-Berry Detox pills. I received my FREE TRIAL in the mail and all I had to pay was $2.00 from Acai Berry Detox for shipping and handling..

Four weeks later, I noticed $87.13 deducted from my checking account from FWM*LIPAPHEN. Being a hard working college student, this was a significant deduction from my "less than full" bank account :( Because I was not used to spending this much money, this strange deduction caused me to overdraw on my account!!! I was so outraged and confused as to why I was being charged $87.13 (The company name was DIFFERENT from when I was charged the $2.00)

I tried to locate this company online again and all I could find were these scam reports (i wish that i would have searched them before) So, I began searching for the original box that the "trial" pills came in.. I found a VERY SMALL insert in my trash, with a number. So, like everyone else.. I called the number pleading for my refund. The foreign-robot sounding lady on the other end of the phone told me that in the terms and conditions, it was stated that this "trial" was actually a monthly subscription, and that there was nothing they could do... [ I was charged the $2.00 for the trial, then $87.13 and did not receive another bottle..] I WAS SO UPSET! I demanded to speak with a manager and was put on hold.. about ten minutes later.. robot lady began to tell me that she would file a "REFUND TICKET" but there would be NO garauntees..

Then, I had no choice but to call my mom and ask her "what in the world I could do" I was very discouraged..especially after reading all of the reports on how people contacted their banks and STILL could not receive their refund. I accepted that I was not going to get my money back..

I ended up calling my bank (key bank) and told them the situation.. I filed the necessay paper work to file for a despute & cancelled my checking account, and started a new one. (After reading all of the reports, I learned that months down the road this company would still be charging me not only for the $87.13 but for random amounts) At this point, I was kind of scared and yet defeated.

I made my purchase for the free trial in February 2009, I was charged the $87.13 April 17th 2009 and TODAY June 10th 2009 received my full refund from my bank!

If you fall into the same trap that I did..FILE A DESPUTE!!!! GOODLUCK!

** If you notice, each complaint report about FWM labs hasa VERY SIMILAR rebutal.

-After going through this mess, and reading the reports & the rebutals, I am almost positive that FWM Labs is writting this rebutals.

For those of us who have been through this mess, we all know that the phone number leads to a long line of WAITTTIINNG, not friendly representatives, and to representatives who cannot speak english. I believe the rebutals are sad attempts to cover FWM's butt from any fraudulent claims..and an attempt to still steal loyal customer's money.

BE AWARE! The rebutals are FAKE!
