Complaint Review: GCI Nutrition

I odered this product online, fully aware that I was getting the free trial and would have to cancel the monthly subscription within 14 days or my credit card would be charged approximately $90 a month for the product to be sent to me each month. I also paid for the express (2-3 day) shipping. It took 5 weeks to get the product. So much for expidited shipping! Then the 1-800 number is bogus. It never even rings. Nothing happens at all when I call it. I called information for another contact number and was told that GCI Nutrition (the company whose return address is on the package) does not exist, or if they do, they have no number or address listed with customer name & address. I ended up having to cancel my credit card and order another one to keep the charge from recurring. Luckily, I did this before the first month's charge hit my card. This was just a hassle. I haven't financially lost anything but time but it was still annoying to have to do that. I also haven't lost one single pound so the product didn't even make that hassle worth my while. Another lesson learned though!
