ACAIBERRYTEAPLUS - AcaiGreentea FREE TRIAL FOR $4.95 SHIPPING, THEN 2 WEEKS LATER CREDIT CARD CHARGED $89.51...SCAM SCAM SCAM Las Vegas Nevada
On a Rachel Ray website I clicked on a free trial of ACAI BERRY TEA for only $4.95 shipping charge. I rec'd the free trial bottle and then about 2 weeks later I noticed a $89.51 charge on my credit card from ACAIBERRYTEAPLUS. I've contacted the company 2 times, on 24 Dec I spoke with Gwen @ 866-938-4832 only to be "assured" she would cancel the AUTOMATIC SUBSCRIPTION THEY MUST'VE INSERTED IN FINE FINE PRINT???... and that I would receive a refund by 29 Dec. On 29 Dec NO REFUND so I contacted the company AGAIN and spoke to another person who stated they'd cancel my account. I asked for a cancellation confirmation number and he stated I'd get an email from him. He read me my email address so I HOPED AND PRAYED I'd have an email by now. I have NOT rec'd an email or REFUND and have now conducted further research on the internet to learn there are many more complaints out there. When I contacted my bank on 24 Dec for assistance they stated they had 12 other calls that same day. I am now cancelling my credit card to ENSURE NO ADDITIONAL CHARGES ARE TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT. If you're waiting for an email I wouldn't hold your breath. If anyone can help or assist in stopping this injustice that would be great. I rec'd an email today from them and they have endorsements on the website from ABC, TODAY SHOW, CBS NEWS, WSJ.COM. If I were these companies I would do whatever it takes to stop these criminals from abusing their good name.
