Purchased service contract on prevost bus in 2006 for 12,000 cash. We had one small claim and no problem with money(small 200.00).March 25, 2008 had a claim which was authorized by Mr. Burgess for 2000.00 and as of this report no check has been sent to us. I have left messages phone and e-mail, our last response was a check would be mailed the end of May. The other issue was replace or repair our 42" plasma and he wanted to buy a used one on e-bay to replace our existing one. We finally agreed on 500.00 to go towards replacement of our tv and still have not received our money. I have talked with state of Florida and he is using license number 60116 and state of Florida can not find such number. I purchased the contract direct from him but noticed he had inserted a dealer name to cover his transaction in Florida. This is just part of the issues. We asked for a refund of balance of contract and have not received this money. After having our issues with Mr. Burgess now we are hearing from some others who have had issues.
I normally do not complain but when I see this type of RIP OFF with not only me but others, then we have a big issue.

Response to Carl Marchant's False Report on ACC

#4REBUTTAL Owner of company

As everyone knows, there are two sides to every story. So, here is the part that Carl **** has neglected to tell you! (He was caught filing a fraudulent claim)

As this is the Only bad press anywhere about ACC, we felt compelled to share the rest of this story. First of all, His last claim in March was paid in full by our American Express in the amount of $2,560.00, not $200 as he stated. This was a claim that was technically not covered and not our responsibility and we got it approved for him and paid out of "goodwill".

Secondly, Carl **** is now upset because he decided that his plasma TV (manufactured in 2000) was getting old and he wanted a new one with HD for free. He stated that "he didn't know anything was wrong with it untill his granddaughter made fun of the picture and he felt bad about it." Also, he stated he has been trying to sell the coach (google 770-630-1642 to see his ads) on four different websites and it needed some updating.

A mobile Plasma TV repairman (expert with 20 yrs experience) was sent to his location to diagnose the problem at our expense. The repairman stated that the TV just had a bad Y board (a $50 part + $200 Labor) in it and that was all that it needed to correct that issue. The RV had a roof leak in the past and there were some spots across the top of the screen where water had sat

The repairman called us and stated that Carl **** asked him "if there was some way they could work it out to just get it replaced with a new one under the warranty and he would make it worth his while."

Carl called us and said he did not want it repaired and demanded that we replace the TV with a brand new one. Carl became upset and abusive when he was told we would have his TV repaired on-site in 48 hours.

Carl then made an appointment on his own and had his 2000 model 480P fujitsu plasma monitor replaced with a brand new 1080P HD LCD TV for $2000 Plus $800 installation. He fully knew that the old TV could have been repaired for $250.

So, maybe now it makes a little more sense!
