Complaint Review: Accent Handyman & Lock Service

When I called Charlie, the owner of this company to help me with a few jobs around my house, he seemed competent enough, but I soon found out how wrong I was. He showed up to my house without any tools and asked if I had any to use to fix a leaky filter HE had installed. Even though he didn't bring tools, he did bring his girlfriend to the job to distract him even further! He also installed a shower door for me...UPSIDE DOWN! When I told him that the door wasn't sliding properly, he told me it was because I bought a cheap one and that I should "get in my car, drive to Home Depot, and return it." Charlie, the "handyman" conned me out of 370 dollars before I realized how shoddy his work was, and when I called him to find out if he was going to make good on his promise as a "quality handyman," he called me a nuisance. This was honestly the worst experience I have ever had with a handyman and would warn all those in the Valley to stay away from Accent Handyman & Locksmith.
