Access Pharmacy Group Logged onto site, simply entered my name and address but NEVER bought anything. Once I saw that there was a fee associated I stopped the process. I am now being charged 159.00 by creditors! Waterford, New York
I logged onto Access Pharmacy Groups website and was browsing threw it. Before I was able to make any kind of purchase I had to "login" to become a "member".
I proceeded to give my name and address, maybe a little more info but nothing vital like my social security or anything very personal or that would compromise me. Once I realized that there was a mandatory fee associated with the "membership" I discontinued the process.
I have now been sent a demand for payment by Alternative Recovery Management for the amount of 155.00 plus tax for a total of 158.84! I never ordered anything, nor received anything for that matter, yet Im being charged. Im furious and I have attempted to contact Mr. Greg Martin from Alternative Recovery Management but we have yet to speak. I have left him numerous voicemails after he left me voicemails to call him back. Everytime I return his call he never answers or calls back within a week or two after the message I left.
What should I do? This site has been shut down and is being investigated by the FBI, I believe. I never ordered or received anything yet im being charged. This is a blacklisted pharmacy that is trying to scam me. Alternative management recovery hasnt been any help and simply trying to get ahold of them has proven difficult in its own.
Please if anyone else out there has had a problem similar to this please respond. I'd like to know how to handle this. I mean I'm not paying either way considering the circumstances. I just want to know what I can do so this stops and someone else doesn't have to go through what I'm going through? So please if anyone has any information it will be appreciated.

Your beef is not with Access Pharmacy, since they are out of the picture, but with Alternative Recovery, the collection agency that has picked up this bogus account. You need to get across the point that this is a disputed account, and will not be tolerated on your credit reports. Be sure you respond with a dispute, in writing, to Alternative Recovery Management or any others that contact you within 30 days of any letter you receive. Do not try to call them; in fact, tell them on the phone that they are not to call you again. Refer to BUDHIBBS website for additional information. I can't remember the exact address, but you can find it on bing. If needed, record any calls you receive from this collection agency. They usually hang up quickly when you tell them the call is being recorded. It might also be helpful to put freezes on all three of your credit reports, but this might cost $10 each. Check Clark Howard's website for more information. I have credit freezes, and I LOVE them.
