Accountnow RIP OFF!! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE San Ramon California

I have been a member of this company for about a year. I recently had an unauthorized charge on my account, I called to have it disputed on 1/2/2009 when I found out that money was missing in my account. I immdediately called accountnow to find out what was going on they provided me with the merchand name and number that was in question contacted them and they told me to contact my credit card company to file a dispute. I did that my card was canelled and I was sent another card. About two weeks later I received forms in the mail stating that I needed to sign and fax them back I did that along with a bank statement and all other information they requested. Once I call to get a update they tell me they submitted the response to the merchant and they were waiting for a response.

At this point it has been two weeks going round and round in the circle. I finally spoke with someone at bankcard services and they told me per accountnow's policy they cannot submit any information to them in regards to this until after 60 days that the dispute has been open. Now this company sent me a statement showing that the reversal was done on 1/28/2009, of course I called once I was notified of that reversal still nothing I have spoke to a number of people since then and here it is 3/11/09 and I have not received my money I call again today I have to wait until 3/14/09 in order for the case to be closed. They do not offer a provisional credit on this type of situation so me being without my money is not there concern. Because I paid a bill with that credit card 8 months ago it is not considered a fraud charge, now if I am not mistaking an unauthorized charge is fraud not in there eyes I provided my card number in the past so this is not fraud.

Anyone out there that cannot get a back account for whatever reason do not use accountnow for banking needs they are not for the customers they are for the consumers. They do not help there customers and Dakota Hicks the manager of disputes do not contact no help at all. I am also contacting better business bureau and anyone out there get a copy of the Federal Regulation E form and compare with there terms and conditions if you do not understand something contact your local legal aid office or attorney to get the full understanding like I did you will love the results.
