Accountnow (Visa Issued By Metabank) at least 30 different employees to be fair AccountNow or Account Now Is holding income tax, repeated lies. Very un-professional Internet, California

Omgoodness.. how to begin?

Well to start off..i was in a bind because my bank card was expired and I needed my income tax fast! With times being hard, we depended on the income tax to pay some late bills to be out of debt. 

So i ordered our card the 22nd of february with a alert through my email that the card would arrive in 5-7 business days. so i assumed i could go a head and finish our taxes and have it all direct deposited into the new account because 2 years ago i had an account now card for ebay and they were great. 

So I had received a text about 4 days later saying our income tax was on there which had shocked me because the irs website said it would arrive in 2 weeks. 

I had called account now because i was freaked out about the money already being on there and they assured me that it was safe..although they were a bit rude by acting as if i were dumb for being afraid in this day and age of scammers. 

While I had called..they informed me that the apartment number was not added as i had said to them when they asked me for my address to verify i was the correct person to talk to about the account. So they had told me to call the my post office and make them aware that the apartment number wasnt on there. they also informed me that my card wasnt mailed out the 22nd as i had ordered it at 12a on the 22nd..it was mailed out the 24 so it should have been sent out that day had the email not confirmed it would arrive in 5-7 days.

My  postal service informed me.. if the apartment number wasnt on it... it was on its way back. 

We waited..and waited.. each customer service representative assured us each day...to just wait one more day...on march 3rd they had shipped out another card in my name..well they said they were. each time i called in..they still didnt have my correct address and finally when i had talked to rodolfo the supervisor..he had put it in correctly... so the second one mailed out was sent the same way as the lost one. 

Rodolfo had helped a little by paying my gas bill and reassuring me that if i had not received it by monday, they would then expedite the card and i would for sure have it by tuesday. He had even said he would give me his personal number and to call him saturday after my mail came.

Still no card! called him saturday.. guess what? they were closed. So then I call monday straight to his line... leave numerous messages..no call backs.. called many times..got many supervisors... all told lies.. finally.. i get lucky and there answers ole rodolfo.. so i then press the record button on my cell phone and then say..hello..i am so and so.. instantly he knows who i am and says.. ma'am I cant hear you...im going to have to end the call.. i asked then..can you hear me.. he replies..no ma'am..i cant! I then inform him i was recording him.. 2 seconds later...his voice is scrambled yet through there crappy scrambler..you can still hear him reply to me when i ask questions and then he says he cant hear me. I have this all on audio still and will never erase it till this company is taken down.

So then.. i call back again.. luck on my side..he (rodolfo) answers.. so i say can you hear me.. and he says yes ma'am and then i say who i am. then he acts all cool when i busted him out apologizing to me. I call him on his lies.. he then tells me he couldnt get the approval to expedite and i would just have to wait for the card to arrive. Basically he made me believe if it didnt show up...i lost my money and to deal with it. 

I have fought back.. i get up at 10am and dont stop calling them until 7p. Each person has told lies to cover each others lies.

So monday..they tell me to fax id's, a bill, the w2 and once i do that..they will expedite the card.. i go and spend my last 7 dollars that was to go into the gas tank for my boyfriend to get to work on fro the rest of the week ...to fax this info.

and believe me...everyone heard my story about just how broke we were.. did they care...no...i never want to hear the word sorry as long as i live because they made the word so worn out.

so i call to make sure they got it.. and they did...but rodolfo lied.. he said it would be reviewed right away... well she tells me..no ma'am.. it take 24 -48 hrs. I call back in again...15 min later.. the next lady tells me.. o yes..its under review now. they will call you at the end of the business day...and by the time she was telling me this.. it was 7p in ohio.

So i call tuesday morning.... they say.. o yes ma'am.. we just received it and its under review... I say wait a minute.. you just received it? she then says.. yes..about an hour ago. then i say..it didnt come last night.. she replies..no ma'am. I then say liar! i was told by two different people last night that it had came and one said it was under review.... then she pauses and says im sorry ma'am. i read that wrong. 

She then comes back and says...you now have to fax the social security card...which where i fax my paper work..the first page is 3.99. I am flat broke and paid for gas with pennies! i have humiliated myself this week because of these people...and i cant count the anxiety attacks i have had over the phone because they just wont listen and say..im sorry. 

So i find a free fax site online and send 2 of the same fax just in case.. then my boyfriend sees how stressed i am and starts to handle it.. they then tell him that they hadnt received any fax from us. i then take the phone and tell them i have the emails and recordings of their employee telling me they already have... they again apologize and tell me they havent.. i call back.. the next service rep says...yes we have received it. I asked her to send me an email to confirm she said that.. of course..no she cant! that might get her in trouble because she is a liar too.

anyway... so i then ask...why do i have to do all of this...proving we are the owners of the money and card..if rodolfo had already paid a bill for me without it being activated? no answers.. they just say the company policy mumbo jumbo..

so then i ask.. well.. when was the second card mailed out... they had no record.. they had told me they were sending out another one for me.. but now they have no record. well i do. i have the audio of them telling me all about how they can give me one in my name and that was when i was added to the account. so how could they add me. talk to me with out my boyfriends approval if then say they never had a request from us for a new card. that was the company policy.. anyone who is added to the account has a card sent to them.. and thats what is on the recording i have of them telling me all about it..and if the first card never came...i could use that one and it would be here by tuesday.. ANother lie!

Finally today... my boyfriend threated to get a plain ticket friday and come meet rodolfo. rodolfo said..sir.. the card is being made as we speak.. it will be there friday at 10 am by fed ex...

we will see.... if it isnt here. i will then write an extension to this...

I am having problems with them now, in regards to replacing money that was taken from my account without my authorization, I have filed two disputes and left messages every day to their supposed "Risk" department, I have yet to receive a call after 2 1/2 weeks. The merchant faxed all the info within 72 hrs to them, and I am still waiting and now they are saying 60 days while they investigate, with contingent funds to use while they investigate, they have now charged me the monthly fee and thrown my account in overdraft. I have spoken to two supervisors who tell me they are separate from the "Risk" department, and that they can not do anything and they are so sorry and they understand..

So basically I am just wondering if your issue was resolved?
