Ordered a cell phone case and screen protector. Case received clearly was not from cell manufacturer as implied on Acctown web site - it was of inferior material and construction and did not fit the phone. Screen protector was received with adhesive exposed - rendering it unusable.

Acctown website said that returns are at buyer's expense, plus a 15% restocking fee (recently raised to 20%). This apparently applies even if products are defective or if Acctown is at fault.

Since Acctown posts no business owner name and no business address, phone number, or email address, the only way to get in touch was to fill out a web-based form. After multiple queries, received this response: "I am sorry but this return has been processed and closed according to our terms. We apologize again for any inconvenience. Thank you."

To make a long story short, never did get a full refund or a satisfactory product replacement. Finally contacted Better Business Bureau for assistance. Acctown responded to the BBB that we "violated the terms of sale by contacting" the BBB.

In fact, Acctown does state on its website that the customer "agrees not to file or initiate any complaint, chargeback, dispute, public comment, forum post, website post, social media post, or any claim related to any transaction." Outrageous.

But don't take our word for any of this. See the Better Business Bureau website (http://www.bbb.org/new-york-city/business-reviews/cellular-telephone-equipment-and-supplies/acctown-in-bronx-ny-141984), where Acctown has 8 complaints against it in the last 12 months for advertising and sales issues, delivery issues, and problems with products and services. BBB rates Acctown "F."

Buyer beware.
