DO NOT USE THIS SHOP, YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!

On Thursday June 6, 2013 I had someone drop off my truck for warranty repairs at Accurate Engines, since the truck was burning and leaking oil, it also had multiple misfires on cylinders 2,4,6,8. I rented a car for the person that dropped off the truck to come home in Indianapolis, IN and drive back to Accurate Engines in Michigan when the truck was fixed. $76 if dropped off in Indianapolis on Friday or $126 if dropped off at the rental location on Tuesday since the truck would be fixed by then according to Jannessa.

On Monday a representative from Accurate Engines named Jannessa told me that the truck was excessively overheated and I have to pay $398.00 for the repairs (not true, this truck was has never been overheated), I asked her if there would be any other surprises and if $398.00 is all that I will be paying and she assure me that $398.00 is all that I will be paying that there will be no surprises later on. They use the excuse that your engine overheated to void your warranty and have you pay for the repairs, at that point I was also told that the truck will be done in an couple of days. I am sure that at this point they had not even touched the truck yet. 2 days later I was giving a phone call stating that the truck has severe damages and that I have to pay more than what I was quoted (no amount was given to me at that point).

I called back two days later and talked to JD, he said that the truck is not done yet and that it will be done Monday or Tuesday (12 days later) and that I have to pay $900.00 for the repairs, which I found to be a lot of money to pay when the truck is under warranty for the next 2 years. But I did not complained because I needed my truck back asap to get back to work. Tuesday came around and it basically turned into an argument with these people because no one knows what is going on with the truck, no one can give me and answer on when the truck will be done, one person said that the engine is done and that its ready to be installed and the other person tells me that that is a lie and the engine is not near done and that it will be done and installed by today Thursday June 6, 2013.

I called today June 20, 2013 and spoke with JD, he as very obnoxious on the phone and told me that the truck will be done when it gets done and that’s it, and that nothing that I say over the phone will change that I told him to find out when because I still have the car rental and at this point is about $400.00 that I owe on it and all this would have been avoided if I was given accurate information. JD preceded to tell me that they will begin installation tomorrow since the engine's head is still in assembly and that they might have it done tomorrow afternoon. I asked "are you sure, can you please give me a definite answer"; that's all I've been looking for. Then he said Monday June 24, 2013 by 3:30 pm. (they close at 4:00 pm).

This people have no clue of what is going on in their shop. I asked to speak with the owner in 4 different occasions now, either he is busy or not available or on a test drive. A lot of broken promised, they don’t stand behind their words and do not honor the warranty that they offer to you. Now I see why they discouraged me from getting the 2nd optional warranty that I had to pay for, and I was willing to pay for it to avoid all f this.

I also will like to add that I am driving another truck that the engine was rebuilt at Accurate Engines and the truck has lifters problems, the timing if off and its rattling very loud which we will be bringing to them for warranty repairs next week, I am very curious to know what excuses they will be making up. And I am out over $450.00 on the car rental and I have to extend it for another 4 or 5 more days.

Finally got the truck on June 25, 2013, Accurate Engines charged me $1298.93 for the repairs instead of the $398.93 that I was quoted even with already having a warranty thru them. Well it's been not 3 full days since I got the truck back and the truck is doing exactly the same thing that it was doing when it was dropped off at their shop 3 weeks ago, it took them 2 1/2 weeks to supposedly fix the truck. Now they are telling me to bring it to a shop and get diagnostic whit of course they do not cover and that they will only pay $55.00 per hour for labor to fix the truck at another shop and that the rest is my responsibility. At this point I feel that this shop is a scammer from the owner to all of it personnel. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP, YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!
