Accutek packaging has sold me on the new turnkey packaging/filler with specs to work on 4 size bottles they were supplied. This filling machine has never work to spec and was delivered with wrong parts, missing parts, and no cheat sheets (set for turnkey). The first time they were called out I was charged for training and the tech had ordered parts and could not get it to work. My engineers made it usable but still had problems. One year has gone by with at least 5 to 10 calls and emails with complaints made to Accutek. They want to charge thousands of dollars to come out for service and training which we never received. There is a coder that is broken and a local tech found out it was over 10 years old and parts are not available...I tried to return this when it was delivered after having problems with it out of the box. My company has always been honest with any situation when it comes to integrity... I tried to research and also visited them twice before a purchase was made my suggestion is don't walk...run.

False Accusations from a Disgruntle Ex-Employee

#5UPDATE Employee

Tue, December 27, 2011

The above statement / post made by a previous employee, Perry Breaux, who resides in Slidell, LA and or Southern California are fabricated and untrue. He had no involvement or knowledge about this customer at all and wasn't employed when this customers order was processed or delivered. After several months of employment we had given him a final warning to prove he could actually do the work he claims to be capable of (drafting and engineering). Within the following weeks he resigned with no notice. After unsuccessfully threatening us for a severance and illegally attempting to claim unemployment benefits through EDD and fraudulently claim unpaid wages through the State of CA Labor Board., he filed a baseless civil lawsuit against us for unpaid wages. He was not successful in all four of his attempts to twist the legal system in his favor and on his last attempt the judge finally awarded us a judgment against him for damages only days before he wrote these lies and is now trying to cause any additional damage he can by making more false accusations.

Accutek has been manufacturing quality machinery for over 20 years.  A visit to one of our Florida or California manufacturing plants will show these accusations to be false.

I also filed a report and strongly agree with this customer. In my report you will find I mention several of the same things this customer complained about. When the owner Ed Chocholek would go to swap meets and flea markets he would purchase old and outdated components to be used on his so called new equipment and assembly personnel would modify the equipment to use these inferior components. The majority of the replacement parts list and part numbers in the owners manuals are incorrect and are very random not to mention instructions for the procedures for replacing these parts. Basic operating perimeters for the customer to use are also incorrect. Accuteks owners, upper management, manufacturing staff, engineering staff and service personnell are all aware of this. You raise any concerns about these matters and you are reminded that if you do not like it you can hit the road because they have several other applicants that would be happy to have your job. Older machines were bought back because of customer dissatisfaction and cleaned up throw on some paint and sold as new even after several years of operation. I am a former employee and I witnessed all of these things first hand. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. I could write a book. I strongly urge you to purchase equipment for your packaging needs from another manufacturrer. You would be better off going to Toys R Us....

Accutek Visit

#5Author of original report

Mon, August 10, 2009

Since my last post Accutek put out extra effort to try and resolve my issues. They agreed to revisit my site and retrain the employees for a slightly discounted price which was $3800 for 4 days. The service manager that came out did an excellent job and was extremely knowledgable about the machinery. We are now satisfied and hope the issue with Accutek is gone.
