Scammer - don't pay them, don't contact them

These emails are scams. Don't pay them. Don't contact them. Yes, their tactics are illegal even if they were a legitimate collector, but they are clearly scammers. Who knows where these funds go if you take a chance and actually pay?  The funds certainly don't go to any creditor to pay off a defaulted loan.

If you do have a defaulted payday loan, contact your original creditor directly and ignore these emails. Paying the people that send the emails will not stop them from contacting you. In fact, I would be willing to bet that they would increase their contacts to drain more funds off you.

None of the threats made in the email are possible as that is not how our collection system nor our court system works. It is apparent the scammers are foreign based on the email construction (language issues) and since there is no attempt to follow the North American collections regulations and the threats are outrageously impossible in our justice system.

Thank you for posting. I have noticed that these emails have changed somewhat over the years from the postings here on Ripoff Report. At least we can track what the scammers are saying now.

Your attempt to collect a debt in this manner and threaten the the debtor is illegal in this country. I hope that the person in question sees this and reports you to his states Attorney's Genera and the Federal Trade Commission since you have violated the FDCPA.
