ACE CASH SERVICES sent me a suspicious email stating I have a past due balance for 978.56 N/A
I just received an email from this company ACE Cash Servcies stating that I owed 978.56 on this payday loan. It's the same exact email other people are reporting about word for word. I know I paid off all of my payday loans that I had becuase when I closed my last bank account those same payday loans contacted me not shortly trying to make payment arrangements to pay them off.
Plus that was 2 plus years ago that I had those loans so why would this company out of the blue now want to contact me several years later?! Another thing is they didn't leave a phone number for me to contact them they said I had to respond back to them in an email. If this is such a serious matter you would you not leave a contact phone number. And I'm pretty sure they would serve me in person or sent a letter through the mail not through an email. I think this is a scam and they are not getting my money. This has to STOP!

You are smart to think they're a scam. They are. Don't give them any information. If they call/email you, report them immediately to your attorney general, the BBB, FTC & FBI. If everyone works together, they can be stopped.
