Over two years ago my company purchased a tool from Ace Industrial Supply. Said tool was sold as American made with a 30 day happiness guarantee. The tool was NOT what it was described as, was NOT American made, and did not perform correctly. We paid the additional return freight charges (which all freight charges were higher than previously said). Then their customer service people called and began harassing us. They told us the tool was not returnable and the sale was final.
We stopped payment on the tool through our bank and refused to pay them. They then fought and fought but finally agreed to disagree and drop the matter. We were not reimbursed any shipping.
The real problem started later. Ace industrial supply has us on their telemarketer list and harasses us at least once a month since. Their employees are rude to the point of cruel. They cuss us out--whoever answers the phone. They threaten us, they won't tell us their names or locations, and they refuse to quit calling.
Our phone company has not been able to get a good enough call trace so far for legal charges to be pressed.
Please do not do business with these terrible people. They and their merchandise WILL make you live to regret it.
