I worked for Jay Rossi (Aces Automotive) for a total of about 4 months. I bore witness to his deceptive practices and his blatant robbing of customers.

I saw him artificially inflate repair costs by replacing parts that did not need replaced, or worse claim to have replaced parts that were not replaced.
I saw his dog (Rocko) jump up onto customers vehicles and cause damage, damage that he denied ever happened.
I bore witness to him charging exorbitant mark up rates for parts and labor just because of the type of vehicle you drove.

After working for him for four months I had finally had enough and quit. I walked out on him on May 5, 2010. Even now after 5 weeks he has still to pay me my last paycheck. This is the kind of person this man is. When I did show up to collect my check he called the police and had me removed from the grounds.
He called me and threatened to press charges after I removed a program of mine that I installed onto one of his computers to help in automotive repairs. I still have the voice mail.

This man is not to be trusted.
I urge any former customer to contact me and I would be more than willing to go over any details that I can recall happening during your repair while I was under this con mans employ.

I got the message off of the yahoo reviews

I got the message off of the Yahoo reviews and called the number listed and left mine. I also summed up the situation for others to read. Right now I am at another shop and am home during the evenings. I have talked to the consumer advocate guy at the Carbondale States Attorneys Office about my situation and several others in dealing with the con man. I thought that I told him that I would be willing to testify at any customers court hearing on their behalf on what happened during the repair, after the repair and any remaining issues that were not resolved.

With my work schedule I still have not had time to file several complaints about Jay myself. He owes me $900 in back pay, and another $600 for my last 7 days that I worked there.

Joe,
I was ripped off by Jay. I have the tan 1997 Blazer that he claimed to have replaced a transmission on in Feb. He then tacked on a starter when it worked fine and called the cops on me when I wanted a list of repairs he had done after three months of having my truck. Could you shoot me an email at (((Redacted))) or call me at (((Redacted))). I'm taking him to court and someone who could testify to his crap would be nice, especially if you remember the truck.
