Acer Computers 5 0f 15 LCD monitors fail in 12 months! Poor quality goods cost time and money. Ripoff San Jose California

About 12 months ago I purchased 15 19 inch LCD monitors made by ACER for a good customer of mine. In the first 6 months 2 failed. In the next 6 months 3 more failed. That is a 30% failure rate in 12 months! Of the remaining 10, 2 more are showing signs of imminent failure. The units carry a 3 year warranty. At this rate all 15 will be repaired within the warranty period. This is costing allot of money in lost time and productivity. Not to mention postage. As well as my reputation.To add insult to injury a laptop purchased recently for an employee that was also an acer failed completely in under 2 weeks. It had to be replaced! The products seem cheap and that is exactly what they are. Not worth any initial savings.

Just wanted to update this report. It has now been about 14 moths. 8 of the 15 monitors have failed! Its a good thing they carry a 3 year warranty. Shipping is adding up though. $160 so far.
