Complaint Review: Acer

Acer My problem is with the tech support. You cannot talk to anyone and the web support is horrible. Finally my only option was to request repair and I had to send the monitor to Texas from Florida on my San Jose, California

I am writing to complain about the service from the Acer Corps.  I bought an Acer monitor and was told by the salesman at CompUSA that there was a 3 yr warranty.  However the monitor sound and monitor system buttons do not work.  I was unable to talk to anyone and the web support was horrible.  My only method to resolve the problem was to request repair which requires me to ship the monitor to Acer report in Texas from Florida, of course at my expense.  Anyone wishing to buy Acer products should be aware of their lack of local service.  It is difficult to even find anything about the company from their web site.  A very devious company at best and one we should all avoid.
