ACLS Training Association, ACLS Recertification not 24/7 available, never responds to phone calls, no refunds Nationwide

1) I am a physician, associate professor at UCSF, thought i booked a course for ACLS Recertification and received a purchase receipt for neonatal resuscitation recertification, which is not announced on the website at all nor mentioned in their advertisement. I am unsure how that could happen, as i attempted to get ACLS recertification.

2) when i needed to take the course on a Saturday morning, i realized that i had paid for NRP and not for ACLS. The ACLS material was not available for me. As i did not want to purchase another course for $175, i tried to reach the "Association" by phone and by e-mail several times. I was desperate as my time for recertification was running out. I needed to have my recertification done that weekend. The website claimes 24/7 customer service. I only reached voice mail several times over the course of the day.

3) Extremely frustrated i looked for other online courses and found a cheaper one that i took.

4) Tuesday after that Saturday, 3 days later i received an e-mail that i can now switch from NRP to ACLS and that the course material is available. As i had taken the course from another provider and never accessed the ACLS course material, I asked for a refund and stated that the 24/7 customer support is false advertizement.

5) "All purchases are final", and i did not get a penny back.

In summary,

--Do not expect 24/7 customer support! if you are trying to do the course and expect 24/7 customer support in case you need it, it is not available, at least not over the weekend!

--Make sure you are not purchasing a course you never intended to take! No refunds for mistakes.

--Don't expect an 'Association'! This is money making buisiness without any ethics or humanitarian interest in suporting cardiac life of our patients. Other courses are cheaper and work well.
