ACS Group Trying to Collect after 8 years Unkown Internet
Today at approximately 12pm my husband( whom i have been with for only 3 years ) gets a phone call ( message ) on his cell phone asking for me. He sent me the voicemail message Kristen Bailey of ACS is wanting me to respond and a debt could be settled. Supposedly it's from a Advance Loan company from back in 2009, they claim that I owe them $645.00. Of course i have nothing to hide and i dont recall this loan so i called them back, the representative that answered the phone asked me for the file #, i gave her that, immediately she wanted me to verify my DOB and last four of my social security number. She proceed to tell me it was from a Payday Advance Loan i took out in 2009 and failed to pay back. They claim that my bank account was closed with Bank of America. Well yes the account was closed back in 2011 due to Fraud that occured and i even filed a police report.
I asked her for proof of documents where i requested this and she said they dont have that, they are only trying to collect a debt for the. I then asked her that i needed something to prove what she was telling me and she said that they dont have anything to share with me, but in order for me to avoid being prosecuted by the court system i needed to pay that debt. Doing some research i found out that they have multiple complaints regarding trying to scam people out of money. they have now begun to call from different numbers and its really annoying.
after reading their reviews and all the complaints i will wait for a letter from the court system. Im not paying anyting that they cant provide proof for.
