Complaint Review: ACS Inc.

I recieved an email on 7/15/2014 that I owe approximately $750 to a payday loan company. The name of the original debtor was not given. The email then proceeded to threaten me with legal action. I was requested to remet payment asap to ASC Inc. (aka ACS Recovery) or would take me to court.

I sent this email to my lawyer who asked about the orginal debtor company name, and contact information for ASC Inc which was not included in the email. This is a scam! There is no contact information in the email, the return email address is from a gmail account (not a business account). 

I googled ACS Inc and ACS Recovery and this link came up: www.acsrecovery.com. However, when I called them they told me they never send email about debts. And that they don't use a gmail account. The email is not from them and I don't owe them any money.
