It's not a collection agancy! It's a "phishing attempt"!

The first tell tail sign that this was a scam email was the "gmail.com" email address.

This is what is known as a "phishing scam".

It appears that you are short in the common sense department.

No legitimate third party debt collector sends out emails in attempt to collect a debt.

It's illegal in most cases as it would violate privacy rules and the FDCPA.

You should get a little more education on using the internet so you can spot a "phishing attempt".

That email was sent in an attempt to steeal your money, and/or your identity.
