Action Nissan ripoff deceptive contracts; solicited customers through preapproval certificate mailing Nyack New York
I received a pre-approval certificate in the mail about a "New Start program" event at Action Nissan. I went and was told that since I was preapproved all I need to do was fill out a credit application. I told the salesman that I did not want a interest rate higher than 7.5% and a payment under $300. I received a call the next day that I was approved for a car to come check it out. Whenever I asked about the price and the interest rate, I was told that it was what we agreed upon.
When I was ready to finalize the sale, my paperwork said that my interest rate was 15.95%. I would have paid TWICE the amount of the car. The car was advertised as $12,990, but was sold to me for $14,495. The total price of the car was 22k! Obviously, I declined the sale.

Good for you. Someone who was smart enough to walk away from a bad deal. Not b***h and moan after the fact.
