Complaint Review: Action Roofing/Construction

Action Roofing/Construction company put a new metal roof on my house but never finished the job! Kevin, the sole owner/proprietor of the company promised to come and put flashing around the chimney, but never came and never has responded to any of my calls.

For at least 6 months after the roofing, I was picking up nails and pieces of sharp metal roofing all over my yard--my dog and one of my cats received severe cuts from these things.

Worse of all, since the winter of 2002, my roof started leaking and since it has never been seen to, it has started to leak inside the house--through the attic space and through the sheetrocked ceiling!!

I have called Action Roofing and Kevin more than fifty (50) times since last November (2002), and he has NEVER returned my calls nor come out to assess the damage, nor even to finish the flashing.

I don't know what to do---I cannot afford to have an independent contractor come out and repair the damage, inside or out...the roof is two stories up and we cannot even find a ladder (not even through the local rental company) to be able to fix it ourselves. Something REALLY needs to be done before THIS winter...any more damage to the ceiling and we'll have to replace the wall boards, too.

I made a report to BBB...nothing. Not a peep. I don't know what to do.
