Actionpix ,Warren Liebmann,; Less Than 24-Hr Cancellations; Failure To Pay Sub-Contracted Workers Toronto Ontario
Contracting company Actionpix, owned by Warren Liebmann, retained the services of my small photography contracting services for 3 consecutive weekends in May 2016. Then cancelled a booking on 2-days notice before the booked date. He honoured a booking the following weekend, then cancelled a booking the weekend following that one on 1-day notice. He verified a booking to occur a month later, only to cancel it at 11:30 PM the day before the booking was scheduled. This blocked me from accepting alternate bookings on the same date that were requested, June 2016. I filed an invoice for him to pay a cancellation fee for the final cancelled booking at a dramatically reduced rate, to which he replied refusing to pay. The series of cancellations rendered me unable to take other jobs on for financial reasons, and unable to invest in marketing. My small business is about to go bankrupt and I'm about to lose my home, all directly and/or indirectly as a result of these shady business practices.

The previously posted 'Ripoff Report' by me infers that the business Actionpix may have treated my business and I with a lack of regard for professional business practices in cancelling bookings with me without time to fill the previously-booked dates with alternate bookings. Factors that I was unaware of at the time have been communicated to me since the time of the initial report that illustrate Actionpix/Warren Liebmann felt he had valid reason for making the decisions he made at the time he made them.
When I Invoiced him with a cancellation fee for the final cancellation, he reports that he felt he had in fact cancelled his booking with me in a professional and timely manner. Furthermore, in his efforts to resolve our dispute he has generously offered to compensate me with a small yet acceptable cancellation fee which I feel speaks to his professionalism and sound business ethics.Clearly a series of misunderstandings led us to mutually viewing the situation differently.
This/My initial 'Report' should be considered null and void, and his recent gestures should in fact be considered a testament to his dealing with our misunderstanding with the utmost professionalism.
