Active Auto Transport, LLC Antenna Mast Ripped Off, Covered in Tree Sap, Electronics Stolen. Parsippany, New Jersey
RoadRunner Auto Carriers subcontracted this company. After being told I could pack 150 pounds of stuff in my car the driver from Active demanded I pay an extra 100 dollars because he would burn up avoiding the weigh stations but we settled on $60.
The bad part come next. My car arrived three days late at 1 in the morning with electronics stolen from out of the truck. My antenna had been ripped off the roof ($400 to fix) of my car and the car was covered in tree sap, which after hours of trying different removal agents, still won't come off completely. Roadrunner Auto Carriers refuses to take responsibility for this. Active Auto just hung up on us when I accused them of these things and does not return my calls.
Roadrunner Auto claims to have full insurance but then said i had to go through Active Auto's insurance which has a $1000 deductable. Well which is it? Either way, Active Auto is a dishonest enterprise that should never be used.
