Active.com Active AdvantageActive Network, LLC Active.com is running a scam charging people for memberships they never agreed to or ordered San Diego CA
Three years ago we had to use Active.com to register for a marathon. We verified the charge at that time and everything SEEMED legit. Here is where it gets scammy - the company then enrolled us in an annual membership program that we never agreed to or even knew about. The next thing we knew, they began charging our card annually under the table - and didn't even bother to send us a printed or email receipt for the transaction.

You'll notice some positive shill reviews posted by their shady brand maagement company. These folks think they can just push out some bogus reviews and squelsh to voices of those victimized by Active.com shady practices.
Our hope is that by posting this ripoff report, law enforcement may take notice. Apparently they have already been successfully sued by the Iowa AG, so maybe some other states might be interested in helping shuttering this scam?
