Complaint Review: Active Periodicals

I got contracted into a subscription of magazines for a cheesy watch. They gave me a low price over 5 years, but said I need to pay an accelerated rate over a year in order to get that price. Stupid me, I said yes.
My payments were almost done, then I receive a phone call asking if I was satisfied with the service. They said they would reduce the amount of magazines as well as the price if I didn't want them. That sounded good to me until they said that I only paid for 11 months out of 24.

They said I have 2 accounts and I told them I wanted to cancel. They said that I would then be billed full price unless I tell them to reduce the amount of magazines. They said someone would call to verify the reduction then they would adjust the price later in a mailing. I said okay, but I a want a customer service number so I can complain about the charges.

What happened? I just got billed for a third account for the full price they were trying to reduce me from. I'm pissed! and I would love to get ny money back, but I doubt that is possible. I just want others to know that this is a scam.
