I was a victim at actors' reps without even knowing. And I didn't even realize they shut down because I guess someone finally hunt them down because they were a scam. I went to Actors Reps thinking that I was going to make it in the industry and that they will help guide me and send me out to auditions. At the time, I wasnt a professional actress like I am now and I didn't know right from wrong. They promised me success but all they did was take my $120 that I paid for their "contract", which I never understood and they submitted me to 1 shoot which was for background work. ANYONE can be an extra and I probably could have found that on my own and submitted myself! My family was telling me to not listen to this guy Richard Brennan, but I was so sure that I found an agency that was going to help me.

The day I went in, I remember sitting in the waiting room for a long time. I had an appointment time and they overlooked it like I wasn't important. Richard finally calls me in and I perform the scene that I was working on for a few days. He told me I was ok and needed more work and that Actors' Reps could help me. He persuaded me; sneaky. I could not believe that I fell for it. Thinking back now I wonder what was I thinking?

I go on Facebook today and I am looking over pages I like and I see that Actors' Reps is permanately closed. What I dont understand is, if that company closed because they were a scam why weren't the clients notified? I know it was years ago but $120 is $120.
