This company is a complete joke.. I worked there until October of this year.  Claim to be a "Christian" based company there is NOTHING Christian a/b them.  Owner is a complete scam artists, his son worked with me and is a druggy, his other son is a technican in Knoxville where i used to work.

If a technician breaks something while working on your vehicle the owner will charge you for it. Pricing structure is a complete rip off.  The company can't even pay their own bills, but will terrorize you for not paying for repairs.  Our paychecks sometimes couldn't cash because no money in bank.  Crappy building w/ no heat at all except for small space heaters.

One knoxville store is a mitsubishi dealer, and rely on 1 technician for proper diagnosis.

Make their money by doing crappy repairs, short cutting the repair and overbill you on the proper labor time.  The technicians there are just parts changers not mechanics.  If they don't know what is wrong the will just write up alot of stuff and if doesn't fix it then just tell you there is more still to do.

Best advice is stay away and go somewhere else, the labor rates there are comparible to the dealer and parts are cheapest parts they can buy and charge you more than dealer pricing..

Hope this information helps you to not go there and run away as fast as possible.

 Dear N/A;

First, may I apologize for not responding to your 28 June 2013 post earlier. I do not routinely visit these sites but felt led to do so again abot one hour ago.

Maybe not the optimum forum, but I am amenable to respond to your note. It seems that your post was directed to me personally as opposed to ACTS Fleet.  I wrote in my earlier post only to what I could attest to honestly. As indicated, I was and continue to be employed at the Nashville location. Consequently, when I wrote of the several that departed and one purportedly injured, my interjection was only about Nashville. I am not typically present at the other locations.  1. Regarding your clause (possibly due to no employees) refering to the absence of witnesses, in fact there are nine active employees at the Nashville location and we continnue to grow with clients and team members.

2. regarding the initial commenters statement that one Knoxville location is a Mitsubishi dealer and rely only only one technician for proper diagnose/s; Indeed that location does employ one 'master tech' to assist the service team, but apparently others are ASE certified and others have attended Mitsubishi specific training. What point do YOU think the original commenter was trying to make. In truth, if one certified technician is sufficient in a certain market to achieve manufacturer and dealer goals; what is the POINT of the statement?

3. the original o/p did not disclose which location he/she actually was employed. Only a reference to several times working with someone at a Knoxville facility. Several of the Nashville personnel have received training at the Knoxville facility.  regarding your snippet "the others we assume are just as bad". Does that translate that YOU (Anonymous) are actually speaking on behalf of others?  Yes, I am sefleetman.

Appreciate the inclusion of several websites for viewing. Yes, Mr WiseMan was unhappy.  Can only hope that his current employer provides him a very structured and monitored environment as apparently he did not repair the heat and the doors while he was supervising his own work and others.  No vitrol intended here. Just facts as the heat and air are greatly improved and the doors are routinely maintained by an outside vendor.

4. Now to the 'scam artist' and the 'druggy'.  A. "owner is a complete scam artist": the original O/P did not offer specifics rather a spurious allegation. What's to comment on?  B. his son worked with me and is a druggy" And the point is?  The owners son as indicated by the original O/P incurred an arrest and is not working at ACTS Fleet Maintenance since December 2012.  And your point is?  And again it appears that YOU are inquiring for others (we). . .

Now 22 months employed with TEAM ACTS and we continue to grow month over month and year over year.

Blessings

So Mr. Jerry W King...  you stated :

1. Several full time employees left ACTS Nashville in 2012.  One did not return after a purported job injury for which there was no witness and another purportedly for a better paying position. Coincidentally, that one returned the next day personally requesting re-employment.

But you only mentioned 2???  So 1 got injured and you stated no witness?? ( possible due to no employees due to "several" left? ) and another quits one day and returns the next requesting employment? To me that doesn't seem right unless the employee isn't very bright?  Sounds kinda shady....  What happened to the rest of the "several"?  Sounds like you are hiding/keeping something from the world by only mentioning 2 of several??

Also what a/b this statement :  One knoxville store is a mitsubishi dealer, and rely on 1 technician for proper diagnosis.

you failed to address this issue/complaint.. must be true.

also the o/p mentioned he worked in knoxville after some research online a/b this company (curious) i found some quite interesting info a/b this company  as listed below here. ( i assumbe the indeed.com you are sefleetman?? But your phone number (according to www.actsfleet.com ) is the Nashville location.. so if this was just your response ( to a store the o/p did not work ) the others we assume are just as bad?!

Another thing not addressed in your 'statement' : Owner is a complete scam artists, his son worked with me and is a druggy, his other son is a technican in Knoxville where i used to work.
this we assume must be true as well....

found also searching the web the above statement from o/p must be true a/b the druggy, shows was arrested in Jan 2012 as well but the mugshot has been taken down ( had option to pay to remove )..

Unfortunately Mr. King, none of your statements hold alot of merit here... You're statements are  uncertain/sketcky. And from the sounds of what i've gather from the above sites from other employees, it companies like this one that make a bad name for others..

My name is Jerry W. King and I have been employed at ACTS Nashville since December of 2011.  To the perceptive reader, it is undoubtedly apparent that the author, Anonymous, is a disgruntled ex-employee. Spurious allegations without substance beg anyone who may be inquiring of or considering doing business with ACTS Fleet Maintenance to investigate further.  The following statements can be substantiated if necessary and inquiries are enthusiastically welcomed.

1. Several full time employees left ACTS Nashville in 2012.  One did not return after a purported job injury for which there was no witness and another purportedly for a better paying position. Coincidentally, that one returned the next day personally requesting re-employment.

2.  Although several team members regularly seek to apply and follow Christ-like principles; this author attests that the company makes no assertions about being a Christian company and in the judgment of the author, there are no Christian companies only Christians who work for companies.

3. In 15 months of continuous employ, not one paycheck was declined or failed to clear when deposited.

4. Without exception, ALL technicians at ACTS Nashville are not only ASE certified, each of them actively participate in available training programs to refresh and to complement their existing skills.

5. With relatively few exceptions (for which a specified limiting clause is added to the invoice), all parts are OEM (not the cheapest) as ACTS provides a one year performance warranty on all installed parts.  I encourage any and all prospective clients to personally challenge us to address any concerns, even the preposterous and spurious.  We are a preferred vehicle health maintenance provider.  Call on us at (615) 448-4000. We are ready to serve.
