ACU-Gen Biolabs - BABY GENDER MENTOR KIT - pregnancystore.com ripoff boast 99.9% accuracy in baby gender verification, it's more like 50/50 Lowell Massachusetts
I purchased the Baby Gender Mentor kit from Pregnancystore.com on October 6, 2005 after seeing a story on the news about this breakthrough product. I received my results 2 weeks ago from Acu-Gen Biolab, Inc that I was expecting a boy. Yesterday I had a 3D ultrasound by a leading Doctor in Scottsdale, Az which conclusively verified that I am in fact having a girl, not a boy like Acu-Gen claimed.
Additionally, when I confided in my Doctor that I was confused with the results because I had taken the Baby Gender Mentor test which resulted in a boy, he laughed and said that of the patients he has seen who have taken the Baby Gender Mentor test, only about 50% are accurate!!!!
I feel like a fool because all of our friends and family were told it's a boy, after all, the accuracy rate is 99.9%, guaranteed. He also informed me that he read some articles on NPR that stated that several complaints have been filed with the FTC. I have filed a dispute with my bank for the $25 and $250 charges for this rip-off product.
I have attached a link to a chat board on the subject. If you count the number of women on this chat board who received an incorrect result from Acu-Gen, their failure rate is guaranteed to be about 99.9% accurate!
