adam cohen PacVest took the money and ran (condo rental) miami, Florida
I wire transfered money to Adam Cohen via his company PacVest. for a condo rental in Miami Florida. The condo rental was cancelled and we never received deposit back.
We called him at least 20 times all we got were one broken promise after another. He advertised on Craigs list and used PayPall.
This person has a history of these problems and needs to be stopped.

I too was a victim of Adam Cohen, probably the same condo in Miami and I too have received nothing but promises.
Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is file charges with the local police and go to small claims court, this may take a while, but something will be done.
If you try to write Adam or call him, he will tell you that he will pay you back, etc if you drop the charges. Don't believe a word he says, no matter how sympathetic he tries to be, especially his sob story of how the owner of this website, someone he calls Ed Madgeson, was trying to shake down Adam for 50000 and 5000 a month to take his name of this site, and how it has ruined his life and how he has an FBI agent on the case, bla bla bla, they're all lies and even if this story were somehow to be true, then you know what, it's nice to know he's getting a taste of his own medice.
Also, never give him your personal information, for example ID, bank info, etc. The only payment you can accept from his is Western Union. If you use paypal, he will use a fake or stolen account, or he'll just call his bank to contest it with Paypal, who by their user agreement can immediately take the money back from you and will return it to him, even after you have withdrawn it from your Paypal account.
Go to the Police and Small Claims Court to get your money back and to get justice. Go to IC3, consumeraffairs, ripoffreport, etc to alert Federal government. If there are enough complaints, they will take him down.
Adam Cohen and from what I read his Dad too, is a very sick man. He has lost all sense of remorse and only gets off after the thrill of successfully scamming another hard working citizen, because that's all he knows how to do, he doesn't even care about the amount, it's just a thrill to him and anyone who tries to understand it or feel sad for him, is even more likely to become a victim.
Whatever happens, do not work with Adam Cohen, PacVest inc, Auctions Royal or any other company that you do not know. The few dollars you pay extra to deal with a reputable company is worth the security knowing that you'll get what you paid for.
By the way, Adam Cohen visits this site, to read what is said about him. I just saw a posting from an alleged victim, Sandra G at(((Redacted)))and you know what, it has Adam Cohen's signature all over it, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's just trying to collect information, because he's nervous.
Just so you know, you need to file your own civil and criminal suits against Adam Cohen. A lawyer could start a class action suit, but they're not interested. This is too small and petty for them.
If you are a victim, you know what to do. You can also voice your opinion on this site. It seems to be getting the right people's attention and will prevent other victims from making the same mistake.
