I applied for company's service in May 2006 after believing all of the following misrepresentations. I was promised ongoing Internet and local support, in June (their) phone dialer coverage would be available in Mexico, and my agent kit would be received in the mail. However NONE of these promises ever manifested.

As a result, on 08/02/06 I emailed company a cancellation request and demanded a full refund due to the aforementioned misrepresentations. I also explained that I was out of town nearly two months and that when returning in late July, I did not receive my agent enrollment kit or any other correspondence. I then called company and was told I could not cancel my contract due to a 2-year financial obligation. But I countered that I was making unnecessary payments for services that were promised to me but were never received. I also explained that prior to signing the online agreement, I was led to believe that I could cancel at any time and that I did not clearly understand, nor was I ever explained all contract terms and conditions. Due to this, the company said they would not honor my email request, which led me to fax the same request per their instructions.

On 10/02/06 they emailed to confirmation that cancellation was effective 08/29/06. Ironically, they state that no refund will be issued to me. Prior to my cancellation, I paid company a $495 deposit, plus they deducted $100 from my bank account on June, July, and August, totaling $795.

I strongly caution all consumers not to do business with this company without first clearly knowing all company and service terms, conditions, and promises and getting them in writting!!!

AdCalls

#2Consumer Suggestion

Tue, October 03, 2006

On many of the opportunity calls I heard Bob Warren (VP of Sales) claim that if anyone was unhappy and wanted to get out of AdCalls the company would provide a full refund. Most of these conference calls are archived on a web site somewhere. If you want out you have two options. One, close the bank account you use for the automatic draft or Two, go to your bank and put a stop to those automatic drafts. As for your refund, I doubt You will ever see it. I too was an Agency Owner and asked to get out. Unfortunately, no one will return my e-mails or phone calls.
