I hired ADE construction to remoel two bathroom and to put down a new kitchen floor in my condominium in Fort Lauderdaale. A tall man in his late 50's introduceed himself aas John and surveyed the work and after a half hour gave me a price to ddo the work. The bidd was several thousands less than the three other bids I received so I asked for some references. I called the references who all said that the work was done quickly, and efficiently by ADE. I thought it strange that John had no business cards with him, but being in the design and construction business myself for over 40 years, I could understand how that happens. I signed a contract with a detailed scope of work attached that I drew up, since their contract was a hand written one page document with no detaail at all.
It is now February 2, 2014 and I still do not have one ingle space completed. The tile setter that they provided has woalked off the job because his lat paychecks hve been bad. The ompany recently moved their offices to Dania and changed their phone numbers. Their workers showw up whenever they want o, work for two or three hours and then leve saying they have to go to nother job. they have been threw 3 expiditers/project managers in three months.
John or Greg, or whatever this crook is calling himself won't return repeated phone and email messages. What kind of person uses aliases when doing buiness. Unfortunatly, I thought his name was John Muller, only to now find out thst he has multiple name.
Itzak Gregor Kohn is using the GC license of a older gentleman named Anthony DeSimone. This is classic on the scam construction business o use front or qulifing GC when you have no credential or licnces to do the work.
This is a total PONZI scheme because they are using new deposits to try staying one step ahead of the irate old customers. Somebody needs to contact the Attorney Generals Office and report this criminal and his activities.

Sorry to hear that you were burned by this scum bag. I am also a victim that he scam $12000.00 out of to remodel 2 bath rooms in my house
He only did 40 % of the work in the master bath room the contract said 3 weeks on the master and 2 weeks on the second one after 3 months and still not able to use the master bath we gave up and contact the state and my attorney to start the process.
First thing go to your local police station tell them what happen and bring copy of your contract and proof of payment with you. Give them his ails and real name they will run it through the crime data base and his name will pop up. After that an investigator will be assign the case and you will need to meet with them.
After that it should go to the state attorney where they will review the information and if everything is in order they will start the process of bring it to court. If you go to the Broward court web site and search on his REAL name you will see how many times he has gone to court and what the disposition is of the cases.
I will not lie down. This is AMERICA!

Greg is due in court on 4/7 for a $100K case in Miami Dade. He then trots over to Broward tfor 2 more felony charges- 4/30. If you think he will ever make good on his word, well then you are just letting him rip you off again. He will have his employees call you to make nice, pretend like they care and want to finish your project.... they never will. they are buying time and hoping you just dont go to the cops and file charges. Do yourself a favor, help us get Greg off of the streets and FILE CHARGES. If your project was not completed, you might find it in your best interest to file those charges before his trial in April. I want to apoligize to the owners of ADE Construction in that I may have been a little hasty in posting my report on 2/01/2014 and calling Itzak Kohn a crook. I received a call from both the owner of the company and their new project manager. They explaned some of the reasons for the issues that I was having with their company. They claim that the tile installer had billed them for hours that he did not work and therefore was not entitled to the pay he was asking for. John/Greg also explained that several key employees had left over the last three months and it created a serious lack of supervision and organization in their office. He stated that they have added new staff and are working towards getting back to a normal schedule.
I met with the new project manager who has been in the construction business for 30 years and he seemed sincere in solving my problems. The tile work continued with another tile setter that they employ and he appears to be doing a good job. In just a few days they seem to be much more responsive and I am hopeful that we will get my project done soon. Only time will tell if I was wrong or right in my initial assesment.
