Complaint Review: Adjustable Beds Direct

Adjustable Beds Direct Michael website says you can cancel before shipment and they will refund all money. They wouldnt. Nationwide

 Under Q&A on the website, the question is asked "What if I cancel my order after I make a purchase? Do I still get my money back?..........................................."if you order a product from our company and we do not  have any of the above shipping, handling, charges, etc.  We will be glad to cancel your order with absolutely NO FEE's because fair is fair and honesty is our policy" 

Q. "Ok so one more time, If I dont like the mattress and return it I do get my money back right?  A. absolutely correct! you get a credit back in the same manner you paid for the item."   I was on the phone getting information and was told by Michael that if I wanted to HOLD the price quoted because the end of sale was that day that I would need to put a DEPOSIT of $100.00 until I had talked to my husband. 

After the end of the weekend, I decided not to go ahead with my purchase and asked for the $100.00 deposit back.  Michael told me the $100.00 was LAYAWAY not deposit and they don't give layaway $ refunds.  I pointed out the above statements in the Q& A and he said that did not go for layaways.  No one said anything to me about lawaway; that is what was typed on my invoice.   Their statement says if the order is canceled before any shipment costs have been incurred, a refund will be made.   I have been refused my refund of $100.00 and have all the back and forth emails to prove it.
