Complaint Review: Adnan Ibrahim

Went online looking for companionship.  Was contacted via email at first from an individual claiming to be a young woman by the name of Sandra Ibrahim, living in Accra Ghana.  She wanted to communicate via phone texting also.  Sent photos to me of a XXX porn star by the name of Ann Angel.  I did not know this at the time.     This individual asked for money so that they could get a webcam so we could see one another as proof they were real.  Asked me to Western Union the money to Adnan Ibrahim, supposedly the brother.

She claimed to be 32 and trying to finnish nursing school while taking care of a sick Aunt.  Within days claimed she loved me and eventually wanted to join me here in the US.  Asked for Travel money and said that she had a check from the sale of her parents house in the amount of $260,000.00.  The check was supose to be from some atty in NY that had bought the home and it was on an account with Bank Of America.  She was hoping to cash it here when she arrived.

Several times I felt the stories were all lies and made up.  Hospital bills, schooling bills, food bills, cell bills, computer bills, traveling bills, etc.  Each time the money was to be sent to Adnan Ibrahim or Safiya Swallah in Ghana.  Even when she was supposedly being detained here in the US because of this supposed check she was traveling with or she ran out of traveling funds the money was always to be sent to the brother Adnan Ibrahim in Accra, Ghana.

After my out of pocket amount of over $6,000.00, I found on the internet several other individuals who had been scammed by this same crew and finally stopped all corresponding with them, even though to this day they still try to reach me.

Phone numbers used by these individuals are:  233 24 142 5228, 233241425228, 233-414-5228.  They even had a facebook account where I found a few other men that were being scammed via this group. All photos used in the Scam were downloaded from the internet.  Both some ficticious Uncle's photo's and the Ann Angel photos.   I did a google image seach and found them there.
