I called an ad in the Arizona republic for a puppy. The women named Kelly told me that she is a rescue for Dogs and Cats. She gave me this address 1424 n 64 street mesa AZ,to come see the Daschund puppy when I arrived she brought out a 13 week old puppy.

She claims that she gets these animals from MEXICO and rescues them. She has a puppy mill running and makes lots of money on these poor little sick animals (distemper) The puppy I bought for $250.00 was very ill my vet told me that the puppy needed to be put to sleep.

I tryed to call her several times 480-593-0946 and left messages but she would not call me back. So I drove back to mesa to find her having puppy yard sale with at least 25 different toy sized breeds of puppies my gosh my heart was broken to see this.

She told me the night I bought the pup that she does not refund money but she would replace the pup. I managed to get my money back only because she had so many customers and was worried that I would warn them of her puppy mill seceret.

I have called the A.S.P.C.A. To report this abuse.

Beware do not buy an animal from adorapuppy you will be taking on a big expense to try to get medical help for the animal.

I am researching animal abuse myself, and came upon this report. This report is about me. The Dachshund she is reporting did NOT have distemper, and was a rescue from Mexico. The Dachshund is happily living in Scottsdale, AZ with a co-rescued puppy named Champi.I can provide and name and phone number for proof. They would be happy to tell you about their positive experience adopting from me. I have been a shelter manager for the Humane Society, and ran an animal rescue for 2 years.

This person's vet gave a BAD diagnosis and she was quick to return the dog within 12 hours of adopting him. I was willing to refund the adoption fee because they were not the right suitors for the dog and were not willing to get a second opinion! The dog's name was Docki. All the other puppies and adults she mentioned seeing were part of an ADOPTION WEEKEND that a relative graciously allowed us to hold in her home, and all the adopted rescues are still healthy and living happy lives.
