Complaint Review: Adore Me

Adore Me is an internet lingerie store.  Please be aware that when you purchase an item you are automatically registered into a membership.  My minor daughter was unaware of this!  Once you realize it you will have a difficult time cancelling this membership.  The easiest way to do it is through your credit card company.  However, apparently when you do this, any monthly charges you had been charged in the past, which shows as a credit on your Adore Me account, will be lost.  In other words, every month Adore Me charges you 39.95 on your credit card.  If you don't order an item (in my case I had no idea my minor daughter had done this by mistake) then however many months you were charged shows as a credit.  But once you cancell the membership with your credit card, you lose this credit.  As far as I am concerned, this is stealing.  They collected this money every month and because you are cancelling your membership, they are punishing you by cancelling your credit. 

You can't speak to anyone in the Claims department ... they only handle the situation via e-mail.

I would be interested in joining a class action suit, if anyone is interested ...
