ADT security ripoff Three months have passed since they took our money Phoenix Arizona
Long time customer, needed service, paid engineer by check on the day, August 13, 2004. Check cleared our bank on August 30, ADT are still billing us saying account is past due. Many phone calls, they say they are investigating whose account was credited in error. My argument is my account is clear, where it went in error is ADT's problem. Customer service??? repr. told me today ADT is a huge company and their policy is to make customer wait for investigation. Three months have passed since they took our money!! Incompetents and liars too.

ADT is a waste of money, you are better off buying a guard dog. External alarms on homes are so often set off by accident most police agencies will no longer respond, and many that do will charge you a fee for any false alarms.
ADT, at least when I was a customer, will simply call the police to respond. With no evidence of a breakin they will drive away.
I was burglarized while an ADT customer. They called police, the officers found no evidence of forced entry so they left. The burglars cleaned several thousand dollars of electronics and jewelry from my home. Later the police determined they simply used a commercial locksmith's pick to open the deadbolt. They told me that rarely is a home with a barking dog burglarized in comparison to an alarmed home.

this happens all the time! its horrible! i wish i could give you advice but anything you do will be useless. Try going to the company and don't leave till its taken care of
