Just recently I recieved a letter telling me that I was one of 25 people who won the sum of 3.75 million dollars. I just had to keep the $4,960 check they sent me to pay the tax fees that would occur for me to get the money. When I researched the title of the company they gave me, one it was not even listed with the BBB and second when I googled the name I could not find it. The "name" of the company is Advance Financial Services INC., however google could only find Advanced Financial Services INC. And on top of that the check clearly stated that it contained a colored background and a micro print border, of which I couldn't find. The letter also stated the company was a sweep-stake lottery, resources management & payment verification type of company. Upon looking into the only ones that google could find I found that Advanced Financial Services INC. is a mortgage company that has nothing to do with any sweepstakes. I would highly advise any one receiving these letters, especially with no return address cept what was stated in the letter, to chuck it in the garbage after reporting it, or use it for fertilizer, which ever actually benefits you. Do some research on it anyways, there's bound to be a real lottery out there somewhere, but it has to do with our own tax system.
